MOJO Monday #412 - Happy Birthday

I manage apartments and like to give our residents hand-stamped cards I make....so I always need to make birthday cards!  I started with a Riding Hood Red card base and added a pink pirouette lace doily (diecut).  I used a decorative border punch on the designer paper and embellished that with pearls - added some ribbon and my greeting which was punched out of white and pear pizzaz cardstock with a decorative punch.

MOJO #411 - A Star is Born!

I'm a little late for the Mojo Monday #411 - but this is what I created last week!

I used Rich Razzleberry for the card base and the Stars Embossing Folder on white cardstock and pretty in pink polka dot ribbon.   The onsie was stamped with black ink onto pretty in pink cardstock.  The star embellishments are from glitter paper.

MOJO MONDAY #386 - A SPRING TIME HELLO!

I really like the last Monday of the month and making tall and skinny cards!  My card base for this week's card is 3"x6" and fits inside a regular 6 3/4 envelope (ya know-the check size!)  I started with white for the card base and added some blushing bride pattern paper with a bit of solid blushing bride over that.  I then used a tone on tone pattern paper and popped it up with dimensionals.  (I should buy stock in the company that makes those little devils!)  I wrapped a bit of netting around that added a Hello tag and layered a die cut butterfly in perfect plum over a sahara sand circle and embellished with rhinestones!  Like all the other people in Michigan, I am so ready for spring and although this is not my usual go to colors - I really liked the way it turned out!  Let me know what you think!

MOJO MONDAY #385 - Happy Birthday - Almost Monochromatic!

I really enjoyed this weeks MOJO sketch!  After I finished my card....I realized that I really LOVE the color gray!  Sorry for using it so much this past month......:)   I have some of those 6x6 designer paper packs from Stampin' Up! that I have been hoarding - I mean saving (haha!) for a few years now and it was perfect for the layers on this sketch!  This was an easy card to put together and one I could repeat again in no time - hope you enjoy!

MOJO MONDAY #384-Grunge Rock Birthday

I have been wanting to use this stamp set for some time now - it is Grunge Rock from Stampin' Up!  I started with a basic grey base and used the Tim Holtz Diamond Plate embossing folder - then the arrows embossing folder on the black - added some designer paper with a tag framelits die and the chevron border punch - I like the "manly bling" of the silver brads (have a grandson in mind for this card) - Then embossed the guitar with black on silver metallic paper (doesn't show up well in the picture)  I really like how it turned out - hope you do to!

MOJO MONDAY #383

Hey there!  I had a bit of a challenge this week as I wanted to use this sketch for the birthday card I needed to make for my daughter's fiance.....He loves to hunt so I dug out my hunting papers, Tim Holtz dies of Artful Arrows and Trophy Antlers for his birthday card.  I'm not all that giddy on what I came up with...however, my daughter thought it was cute - so here it is!  Let me know what you think!
